My name is Judy, and hats have always been a meaningful part of my life. My parents started a hat business back in 1984, when I was just 4 years old. I grew up surrounded by fabrics, embroidery machines, and the joy of creating something people could proudly wear. After three months of working at the shelter, I found my calling—not just in hats, but in combining them with a cause I care deeply about.

In 2018, my daughter Katie asked for a dog. At first, I hesitated, but I decided to volunteer at the Humane Society Silicon Valley. After three months of helping there, I met my furry soulmate, Paris, a rescue pup I fell in love with and adopted immediately. That moment inspired Katie and me to start designing Dog Dad and Dog Mom hats for proud pet parents like us.

Soon after, a rescue reached out asking if we could donate hats for an auction. Their fundraiser was a success, and we realized we could make a real difference. Since then, we’ve partnered with over 30 rescues and donated more than $15,000 to help animals in need—including Pacific Pug Rescue, French Bulldog Rescue Network, Short Noses and Friends United Rescue, and Oregon Humane Society. Supporting rescues is at the heart of what we do, and you can always reach out if you’d like to set up a fundraiser for your shelter.

Our collection has grown to include fun, conversation-starting designs like the Treat Dealer Cap, created to bring smiles to pet lovers everywhere. Whether you’re walking your dog, visiting the park, or attending a fundraiser, our hats connect people through their shared love of animals.

Just recently, we participated in SuperZoo, the leading professional pet trade show. Goldtop (our family’s manufacturing company) was the only hat exhibitor at the event. Visitors came into our booth curious and left with smiles—our Dog Dad Cap and Treat Dealer Cap quickly stood out as favorites.
